A message from the community |
Dear Sir/Madame Thank you very much from all of us to Lifewater, for the well they drilled for us! We are very happy to have a well in our community. Not only will it help us to save some money but it will help keep us from getting sick. The life here in Haiti is so difficult and dangerous. To have our own will is a very good thing. We will continue praying for you all. Ronel Mesidor Well Caretaker |

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |
This community in the Plaine du Nord district has about 500 people living in it. Since it is the main well all will use this water point daily. The nearest pump is about a 45 minute walk away, a 30 minute walk made up to 3 times daily to fetch their drinking water. If the villagers can afford it they spend on average 1000 goudes ($7.50 USD) on bagged water |
