Access to clean and safe drinking water was a challenge to the majority of the residents of Nimba United Peter town in Liberia's Montserrado county. Clean water was either too expensive or the sources was several kilometers away. This is why many of them chose to drink and wash from a nearby dirty shallow well. However, Lifewater Canada funded the construction of a new well in Nimba United Peter town and installed a new hand pump. The village well has ensured there is easy access to clean and safe drinking water for everyone.
