A message from the community

We are happy and blessed to have access to clean water. We no longer need to collect water from the river and therefore we don't get sick from drinking the river's water. We are deeply grateful t Lifewater Canada for our new well.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

K'opiyo community had no safe source of water for a long time. Children and adults were forced to rely on unsafe water sources such as rivers which put them at risk of diarrheal diseases. But thanks to our donors, Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya,  a new well was installed with a hand pump in K'opiyo community. This is accessible to all villagers. Everyone in the community is happy to have safe water.
