Residents of Kochieng community have always relied on the two or either of the two wells serving the community. Usually when one well is dormant, the other one is active. However, the past few months were challenging for the community because both hand pumps were down, setting off a period of scarcity of clean water.

But thanks to our donors, our hand pump repair team stopped by the village and fixed the two broken hand pumps, including this one. Clean and safe drinking water is flowing in abundance in Kochieng community.
