Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |
Kigoche Primary School provides education for over 400 students. They spend eight hours a day, five days a week in a school that had only one pit latrine. The sanitation situation was dire, with teachers and parents often asking for help in building a newer and larger community toilet. Lifewater Canada learned of the school's need and, thanks to our donors, recently built a new four-stall toilet and hand-washing station that has resulted in a much healthier learning environment. |
